1Password is a free-to-use, DoIT supported enterprise password manager that allows faculty, staff, and students to securely store, manage, and share credentials used for university purposes.

12twenty

12twenty is a survey administration tool used to administer the First Destination Survey and the Workplace Experience Survey for UW–‍Madison students. The outcome data analytics (ODA) tool within 12twenty is used to collect and analyze data and deliver custom reports on career-related experiences and post-graduation outcomes.

Shared tools

The Shared Tools team manages an on-premise GitLab instance (git.doit.wisc.edu) for UW–‍Madison under a GitLab for Campuses license.

Blue

Blue is a digital course evaluation system which will be used at UW–‍Madison beginning in Fall 2025.

Big Interview

Big Interview is a mock interview training tool used by UW–‍Madison students and staff to prepare for interviews as well as practice and improve interview skills. Big Resume, a feature within Big Interview, provides AI generated feedback to optimize resumes. Instructors can also create and review interview assignments and create customized resume scoring guides and downloadable resume templates for students.

DesignPLUS

DesignPLUS is a group of three Canvas integrated tools that help rapidly build and style high-quality courses. These tools help make learning engaging and accessible for all students. Courses built using DesignPLUS tools don’t require advanced technical skills.

Cisco Contact Center (UCCX)

Cisco Contact Center provides advanced features like multi-level condition-based call distribution, real-time analytics, call recording, and cohesive team interaction features. These features make it ideal for managing customer interactions at scale, improving service efficiency, and providing agent flexibility.
