Microsoft Teams is a business communication platform developed by Microsoft, as part of the Microsoft 365 family of products. Teams primarily offers workspace chat and videoconferencing, file storage, and application integration.

Windows OS Deployment (OSD) Service

The DoIT Departmental Support Windows Operating System Deployment (OSD) Service is a flexible, cost-effective solution that UW–‍Madison departments may use to deploy Windows and commonly installed applications to departmentally owned systems.

Digital signage

DoIT can provide digital signage solutions using Visix solutions. Digital signage can be used to communicate information to wide audiences using large format displays with customizable content.

SharePoint Online

SharePoint in Microsoft 365 provides the content services for all files in Microsoft 365, including files stored and shared within Teams, Groups, and Outlook. SharePoint manages files (including permissions management), and powers content collaboration across the Microsoft 365 suite of services. SharePoint enables sites, portals, news, pages, lists, and a platform for business apps.

Grackle Workspace (free accessibility checker)

Grackle Workspace is a suite of extensions to Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Sheets. When added, each extension automatically checks for accessibility issues and guides users through correcting them.

Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat

Microsoft Copilot is a generative artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot that is freely available to all UW–‍Madison students, faculty and staff.
